PAWS & SNEAKERS 5K RUN/ WALK Riverside Park, Evans. The Humane Society of Weld County’s 22nd Annua; 5k Run/ Walk along the Platte River. The Run/ Walk will kick off EvansFest this year!! The event includes a 1-mile walk, micro-chipping, vendor showcases, parade, petting zoo, and other activities and demonstrations. Dogs are encouraged to run/ walk with you or you can rent one from The Humane Society of Weld County. You may register online at www.weldcountyhumane.org or at the shelter, 1620 42nd St in Evans. Pre-registration is $20; event day registration is $25. |

2nd Annual Fall Harvest Brewfest The Second Annual Fall Harvest Brewfest - Bringing you beer with pedigree…Get ready for another round! Raising money for the Animal House Dog Rescue. Fall Harvest Brewfest is celebrating its first birthday! This year's event will be held at The Drake Center in mid-town Fort Collins. With a little more elbow room at the new venue, we have the opportunity to bring in some amazing local food purveyors to pair with your favorite brews. For those who would like first crack at over 25 breweries and samplings from our food vendors, VIP admission will get you in an hour before general admission doors open. The ticket price will include some brewfest mementos that you can continue to enjoy into the winter, spring and summer, a $5 off Merchandise coupon, and a "Cooking With Beer” demonstration!
